Press Council of India advises media to abide by the provisions of Section 126A of Representation of the People Act, 1951 and Guidelines of Press Council of India on ‘Pre–Poll’ and ‘Exit–Polls’ during the upcoming General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar and Bye-election to 8 (Eight) Assembly Constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Telangana, Punjab, Mizoram and Odisha.
