The Press Council of India Assessment Committee to visit Hyderabad regarding police brutality on the media persons in the Osmania University Campus.

 

The Press Council of India has constituted a three member Assessment Committee consisting of S/Shri K. Sreenivas Reddy, S.N. Sinha & Kalyan Barooah for on the spot assessment of the charges regarding police brutality on journalists of print and electronic media in the Osmania University Campus on 14^th & 15^th February 2010. The Committee shall gather facts and evidences from media persons and State Government in Hyderabad on 7^th & 8^th March 2010 respectively and submit its report to the Council.
